YMC offers ion exchange, size exclusion, hydrophobic interaction, and reversed-phase products for separating peptides, proteins, nucleic acids, glycans, viral vectors, and other biomolecules. In addition to analytical columns, YMC has a production system for bulk packing materials that can be used at manufacturing scale. Preparative chromatography systems covering laboratory to plant scale and contract purification services using these products support method development through purification.
Accura BioPro IEX columns provide low adsorption and low carryover for biomolecule analysis. BioPro IEX SmartSep and BioPro IEX packing materials have high dynamic binding capacity for efficient purification of antibodies, proteins, and nucleic acids. MacroSep IEX is also available for larger molecules such as viral vectors.
YMC-Triart provides excellent durability under high-pH and high-temperature conditions. It also gives good peak shape with formic-acid mobile phases for LC-MS, and bioinert columns are available for adsorptive samples. Bulk packing materials for purification are also included in the lineup.
Aqueous SEC columns based on silica gel. The lineup includes YMC-SEC MAB optimized for antibody separation and four YMC-Pack Diol options that can be selected according to molecular-weight range.
BioPro HIC is effective for drug-to-antibody ratio analysis of ADCs, plasmid DNA separation, and separations that are difficult with ion exchange or affinity chromatography. High resolution with low pressure enables rapid analysis at high flow rates.
Contichrom enables continuous chromatography using twin columns for efficient purification of proteins, antibodies, peptides, and oligonucleotides. Scale-up from laboratory to process scale is straightforward.
BioStream low-pressure preparative systems are suitable for ion exchange and size exclusion chromatography, covering a wide range of scales from development to GMP manufacturing plants with YMC Pilot glass and acrylic columns.
K-Prep automated preparative systems are suitable for reversed-phase purification. Combined with dynamic axial compression columns, they support laboratory through plant scale with GMP and explosion-proof designs available.
